Do note, however, that a simple call can successfully ward off potential frustration.  If you hope to take advantage of a price-match policy, a good practice to follow is to call your local store in advance to confirm whether that particular location honors a corporate price-match policy.  Otherwise, you just might end up with an awkward, frustrating and embarrassing moment at the register when the clerk denies you a price-match.
